Every time you visit the MLytica website, you will be prompted to accept or refuse cookies or to modify your choice by accepting the use of some types of cookies and rejecting the use of others.

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. The purpose of using cookies is to enable the site to remember your preferences (such as username, language, etc.) for a certain period. That way, you do not have to re-enter them when browsing around the site during the same visit. Cookies can also be used to establish anonymised statistics about the browsing experience on our sites.

The cookies usually contain the name of the website they belong to, the amount of time they are stored on the user’s computer and unique number. The cookies are NOT used, and not intended, to bring viruses into your computer or to harm your computer otherwise.

The personal information, which is sent through the cookies, can be used only to perform certain operations for the user. Such information is encrypted in a way that makes it impossible for unauthorised persons to access it.

There are four major types of cookies used in MLytica that could be sent to your browser:

Session cookies are deleted when you quit your browser.

Persistent cookies are cookies saved on your computer that are not deleted automatically when you quit your browser.

First-party cookies are cookies set by the website you are visiting. Only that website can read them.

Third-party cookies are cookies set by third-parties, which use MLytica or service MLytica, that may be used by them occasionally.

We use both, session and persistent cookies.

By accessing MLytica and subject to your choice, you might besent first-party cookies and/or third-party cookies.

The first-party cookies are provided directly by MLytica and are used only by MLytica. We will undertake all feasible measures to prevent the leak of this information to third parties and/or unauthorised access thereto.

For the proper use of MLytica, we recommend the users accept the use of the so-called necessary first-party cookies. These cookies cannot be disabled by the user.

These necessary first-party session and/or persistent cookies we would send, are used for any of the following purposes:

·      User’s identification upon accessing the platform;

·      Option for storing the user’s data for automatic access;

·      Storing the privacy settings;

·      Storing preferences;

·      Last visited sections, searches etc.;

·      Control over the connection security, data transfer and protection of undesired third-party interference;

·      Settings required for the normal access and use of the services;

·      Identifying and preventing multiple registrations and use of multiple accounts by one person;

·      To improve the operation and maintenance of the MLytica website and app;

·      To analyse how the MLytica website or app is used and to improve its functionality;

·      To personalise and enhance user experience;

·      To show the persons accessing MLytica relevant advertisements.

Most of the necessary cookies are sent to the user as a result of actions undertaken by the user. Therefore, those are deemed equal to a request for using a service vis-à-vis MLytica.

In addition to the necessary cookies, we also would send optional cookies to your browser. Such include, but are not limited to, advertising cookies. These cookies are used to limit the number of times one ad is viewed and to measure the delivery of advertising campaigns. Advertising cookies are used to manage advertising on the website (these cookies are not used on our websites to send you ads). Advertising cookies are placed by approved third parties – for example, by advertisers or their agents, and may be permanent or temporary. In short, they relate to the advertising provided by approved third parties on our website.

Third parties that offer products and/or services on our platform could send third-party cookies. We do not control the type and the purpose of these cookies and we do not bear any responsibility in this regard. If a consumer contemplates using the services offered by a third party (i.e. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, the respective services provider or others), we encourage the customer to inquire with the respective third party about the type and the use of their cookies. We do not undertake any responsibility if the user fails to do so or omits its obligation to apply due care for its privacy protection.

The user is entitled to manage the cookies by rejecting and/or deleting them. The commonly used browsers are set to accept and send cookies automatically, but, at the same time, they have cookies settings, which provide for a validity period and an option for automatic deletion after this period expires. More information thereabout could be retrieved at: www.aboutcookies.org and/or www.youronlinechoices.eu.

The user can modify the control over the cookies through the privacy and cookies settings in the browser used.

The user can block the cookies on their browser. Please be informed that this might result in a necessity to set up parameters manually each time the user accesses MLytica. At the same time, we cannot exclude that this will lead to disabling some material functions of MLytica. MLytica could not be held responsible for the above-described possible limitation and/or restriction of the functionality of the platform.

The user has all rights and legal options concerning personal data protection in connection to use of cookies sent by MLytica (session, persistent first-party cookies) as provided in REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THEEUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

This Cookie Policy is an inseparable part of the General Terms and Conditions for the use of products of MLytica.
